If you are a member of law enforcement, please Contact Us.

Unlawful Content

Content that is unlawful in the United States will be removed promptly. Examples include:

  • Court Orders: If you are law enforcement with a court order, please Contact Us. In cases of clear emergencies where a court order would obviously be granted, Contact Us immediately.
  • Threats and Harassment: Any content that promotes threats, unwanted contact, or emergency responder hoaxes ("Swatting") is strictly prohibited.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Use the built-in report feature or Contact Us immediately if you believe any content exploits minors.
  • Copyrighted Material: This site is not a platform for piracy. Copyrighted content must be used fairly and within context. Copyright holders wishing to file a complaint should consider fair use, as this is reviewed before any decisions are made.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Any federally illegal content will be removed.

Lawful Content

Generally, a court order is required for the removal of lawful content.

  • Civil Injury: If you believe your rights have been violated, you should seek relief through a U.S. Civil Court by suing the authors of the content in question. A court order to remove defamatory content will be honored. User information will only be surrendered with a subpoena.
  • Nonconsensual Pornography: If nude images of you have been posted without your consent, please Contact Us. Public figures who are victims of revenge pornography should seek assistance from law enforcement and obtain a court order. Laws in many jurisdictions can assist you.

Commercial pornography is treated as a commercial product.

Courtesy Removals

In rare situations, a courtesy removal may be granted at our discretion if:

  • They are no longer a public figure.

If you meet these criteria and your article has been inactive for at least a year, please Contact Us.

Before submitting a DMCA notice, consider the following:

  • This site values transparency. Your DMCA notice will be publicly posted as received.
  • Fake DMCA notices are addressed accordingly. Signing a DMCA notice on behalf of someone you are not authorized to represent is a crime, and all complaints are verified.
  • Incomplete or invalid DMCAs are not honored. A valid DMCA must include a legal return address (not a PO Box) for filing a counter-notice.
